LSU DEPARTMENT OF MARKETING
The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business Administration invites applications for an open rank tenure-track position in the Department of Marketing (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The anticipated start date of employment is August 2026, pending final approval. Salary is competitive.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field (Assistant Professor applicants must have degree completed by August 14, 2026). Associate Professor candidates must have a PhD. in Marketing or related field and hold the title of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at another university. Full Professor applicants must possess a PhD. in Marketing or related field and hold the title of Associate Professor or Full Professor at another university. We are particularly interested in scholars with research and teaching interests in professional sales and sales management. The successful hire at the Associate Professor or Professor level with tenure will be considered for the Ourso Distinguished Chair in Marketing.
Responsibilities: Perform scholarly research with the expectation of publication in top marketing journals, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels; serve on dissertation committees; provide service to the university and to the profession.
