University of New Hampshire
This is a nine-month contract position, initially appointed for two years, with the possibility of renewal at the College's discretion. The lecturer position includes the full benefits package for non-tenure-track faculty at the University of New Hampshire (UNH). Lecturers at UNH are represented by the AAUP through a collective bargaining agreement. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Please note that UNH is unable to sponsor applicants for employment visas for this position.
The full-time lecturer will teach six marketing courses per academic year, including multiple course preparations. In addition to teaching, the lecturer will serve as advisor for the Marketing and Advertising Club and will organize the annual Summit for Marketing and Adverting Careers. Classes will be taught in-person, and the candidate is expected to be on campus for regular office hours and other university or college responsibilities.
Strong candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence and a willingness to engage in activities beyond the classroom, such as serving on faculty committees, attending college meetings, and mentoring students. Minimum qualifications:
- Relevant advanced degree (MBA, or other related master's degree, DBA, Ph.D.) and proven success in college-level teaching.
- Applicants should be able to demonstrate the ability to meet the appropriate faculty qualifications based on AACSB accreditation standards by maintaining engagement and currency in the marketing field.
