Marketing Faculty Position in the College of Business
at Alfaisal University; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Alfaisal University (AU) is a highly ranked and successful University located in the capital city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was founded in 2008 as a private not for profit research-oriented university, where English is the official language of instructions. It consists of six colleges: Business, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, and General Sciences. College of Business (CoB) offers a BBA degree in Business Administration with six majors (Accounting, Finance, Entrepreneurship & Family Business, HRM, Marketing, and Operations & Project Management), an MBA degree with six tracks (General, Accounting & Taxation, Digital Marketing, Finance, Human Capital Management, and Healthcare Management), and an Executive MBA in Healthcare Leadership along with an active Executive Education & Development program with strong connection to government agencies, businesses, and industry. CoB subscribes to business databases and provides strong support for research. The Times Higher Education Young Universities (under 50 years old) Rankings 2022 ranked Alfaisal University 1st in Saudi Arabia, 1st in the Arab World and 36th globally. Alfaisal has been placed 8th in ”The World’s Best Small Universities 2022.”
We are looking to welcome a new faculty member to our marketing team, focusing on Marketing, with expertise in either Experiential Marketing, particularly around Immersive Technologies and Digital Marketing, or Marketing Metrics and Analytics, emphasizing the importance of data analysis in marketing decisions. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in their area of specialization, backed by relevant academic and practical experience. This is an opportunity to contribute to the marketing department at the CoB at AU, helping to prepare students for the realities of the marketing field, through a blend of theory and practical application, in a supportive and innovative academic environment.
Qualified candidates (male and female) are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in the designated field and demonstrate a strong record or potential for high quality research and teaching. Preference will be given to candidates with strong research record and potential. Candidates are expected to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels where class size is relatively small.
