Mission
The Brock School of Business delivers life-long business education to its constituents through quality teaching, meaningful scholarship, and servant relationships, imbued by our Christian commitment.

School History

History and Accreditation
The Brock School of Business, offering the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.), was established in 1965. The first Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree was awarded in 1967, and in 1995 the Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree program was added. The School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

Notable Accomplishments / Recognition

US News & World Report ranked Samford University fourth in the South and sixth on the “Great Schools, Great Price” list of Southern universities in its 2012 edition of America’s Best Colleges.

In addition, the Brock School of Business' programs have been increasingly recognized. For example, in 2010, the U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship chose the Brock School's Entrepreneurship Program as the best new program in the U.S.

The faculty continue to offer innovative curricular and co-curricular activities. For example, the School launched a Marketing minor for non-business students in 2012 and will launch a Sports Marketing concentration for business students in 2013.
