School Overview

The Tecnologico de Monterrey is a prestigious, private non-for-profit, Mexican educational institution that was founded in 1943. Currently, it has campuses distributed throughout Mexico, Latin America and around the world. The academic programs of the Tecnologico de Monterrey are nationally and internationally accredited by several organizations including SACS - Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in the United States. In 2013 the organization QS awarded the Tecnologico de Monterrey its highest five star ranking for teaching quality, internationalization, graduate job placement, educational innovation, quality of its installations and commitment to the community, first time this happens for a university located in Latin America.

Founded in 1991, the scenic Guadalajara campus blends modern architecture with tranquil, green spaces. Currently, there are 8000 students among the high school, undergraduate and graduate programs. The campus enjoys a strong, diverse student body with 45% of its undergraduates proceeding from different states in Mexico or other countries overseas. The Guadalajara campus receives over 600 foreign students per year at the undergraduate and graduate level and maintains a vigorous international visiting faculty program which gives the campus a distinct, international feel.
