The Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver (DU) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in the Department of Marketing starting fall 2016. The Department of Marketing is an academic unit of the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver in Colorado. DU is the oldest independent university in the Rocky Mountain region, with approximately 11,800 students in undergraduate and graduate programs. DU is classified as a Doctoral/Research University with high research activity.
The Daniels College of Business is the one of the largest colleges within the University, with 1,800 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students. We offer a variety of majors and minors, including two bachelor’s degrees, three MBA degree programs and seven specialized master’s degrees. The Department of Marketing at Daniels College of Business brings together traditional and innovative marketing approaches—all within the framework of professionalism and ethical decision making. Our faculty takes a hands-on learning approach to produce the best marketing professionals. Beyond the classroom, faculty members engage in collaborative research projects, which have been published worldwide. Faculty members in the Department of Marketing are nationally recognized for their thought leadership in the marketing industry. Their research and publications have appeared in journals such as Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Advertising, Business Ethics—A European Review, The American Journal of Psychology, Journal of Consumer Marketing and Journal of Marketing Education. In addition to small classes and team projects that foster collaboration and networking between students and faculty, the department hosts professional development opportunities and roundtables for marketing professionals, students and faculty.
